O.N.E., One Natural Experience at BK Fashion Week(end)
Brooklyn Fashion Week{end} has emerged as a powerful new showcase for fashion talent on the verge of discovery. The event is responsible for providing a platform for some of the world’s most important new talent, including the UK’s Jay Wilson and Gavin Douglas, Beverly Hills couturier Nana Boateng and Atlanta- based paper artist Cotrice.
As we head into our 6th season, the event and its parent non- profit, The Brooklyn Style Foundation has become acknowledged as THE incubator for emerging design. Having established a solid operational structure and in 2008 pulled together a phenomenal Advisory Board of savvy industry insiders, The Brooklyn Style Foundation is clearly poised to move into its wider mission of providing year- long consultancy services to young designers.
“The whole weekend will feel like one great fashion show from around the world,” said Rick Davy, creative director of BK Fashion Weekend.
One Natural Experience will be handing out drinks during the fashion shows, at all model castings, and at each afterparty! Check the BK Fashion Weekend web pages for details....

One Natural Experience hosts open bar at the Second-Annual EcoStiletto Green Girl's Night Out
The Shoe’s The Thing at the Second-Annual EcoStiletto Green Girl’s Night Out at Intuition for Dress for Success.
On Tuesday March 10th, more than 200 loyal Los Angeles EcoStiletto.com subscribers, including Sarah Jane Morris ("Seven Pounds"), eco-expert and author Anna Getty, Katie Gill ("Drillbit Taylor"), Lorielle New ("The Practice"), Pamela Hasselhoff, Carolyn Hennesy ("General Hospital") and Kristen Renton ("Days of Our Lives") attended the second-annual EcoStiletto Green Girl’s Night Out at Intuition.
Guests braved an unexpectedly torn-up sidewalk (thank you, stimulus package) to raise $600 and fill six shopping carts full of gently-used shoes (including Manolos, natch) in under three hours to donate to Dress for Success.
Sarah Jane Morris arrived in a veggie-diesel powered vintage Mercedes that she graciously parallel parked in front of about 50 bystanders and paparazzi, then posed with a visibly pregnant (and glowing) Anna Getty.
Green Works Natural Cleaning Products debuted their new biodegradable cleaning wipes and a reusable shopping bag that donates to the Sierra Club and was designed by host committee member (but unfortunate no-show), Jennie Garth.
Sarah Jane Morris, Anna Getty, Katie Gill, Carolyn Hennesy and Kristen Renton applied Terra Firma Cosmetics’ lead-free lipstick so they could kiss the Teens Turning Green Lips Against Lead petition facilitated by L.A.’s own Green Youth Movement.
Anna Getty and Sarah Jane Morris tried on vegan ballerina flats from Do-Ni, featured in March as part of EcoStiletto.com’s monthly $500 eco-friendly shoe giveaway, and checked out the latest eco-shoe fashion from Kailia, Libertas, Charmone and Green Bees, which sported recycled-tire soles.
While grooving to tunes provided by solar-powered DJ Ref, guests drank phenomenal cashew cocktails from O.N.E. Coconut Water and nibbled on vegetarian hors d’oeuvres from Border Grill Catering.
The eco-friendly shoes will be featured on ShopIntuition.com, where the store is giving away an eco-friendly footwear basket worth $1,000 through March 26th.

SomeO.N.E. has a New Partner!
One Natural Experience will happily donate O.N.E. Coconut Water and ONE Water Gift of Life to this company for their initiatives and to keep them hydrated while traveling!
The Transcendence Theatre Company, a group of artists with an extensive list of Broadway, National and International Touring, Regional Theatre, Film and Television credits are embarking on an expedition entitled “The Transcendence Artist Project” March through May, 2009 at The Gertrude Pearlman Theatre in Punta Banda, Mexico.
In 1931, at the height of The Great Depression, The Group Theatre (Clurman, Strasberg, Crawford, Adler, Meisner) embarked on a journey of self-discovery and artistic exploration that would revolutionize the American Theatre. In 2009, as America faces a financial crisis that is closing 16 Broadway shows and numerous regional theatres across the country, The Transcendence Theatre Company will embark on its own exploration to take life and art to new levels.
“The Transcendence Artist Project” is an experiment of great magnitude uniting personal development with artistic development through individual, group, and community integration. The company of artists will join together with a team of holistic health, healing arts, peak performance nutrition, mindset training, sustainability, and creative arts specialists to enhance the personal and collective development.
The artists will focus on the development of collaborative art within the company and with the local community with a major focus on multi-cultural community service projects benefiting the city of Punta Banda. “The Transcendence Artist Project” will be documented and shared world-wide through online blogs and events.
The Transcendence Theatre Company is a nonprofit organization established in 2008 dedicated to developing a new approach to the performing arts. The company is united in a passionate belief that a movement truly integrating health and well-being into the arts and entertainment world will help thousands of artists already suffering from eating, addictive, anxiety, and emotional disorders due to the pressures of the current entertainment industry.
A new holistic approach for the artist will revolutionize arts education, the commercial arts sector, and have an unbelievable impact on the artists’ ability to serve our youth, our communities, and our world. The Company’s mission is, through their art and lives, to encourage individuals to commit to living their best lives ever.
